Loosely based on Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus, John Fisher’s version takes an open, artistic, Gay friendly society led by a Drag Queen and pits them against a despotic, militaristic society.  Sprinkled liberally with vaudeville gags, golf cart chases, Noel Coward cabaret numbers, and an adventurous romp through the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts grounds at dusk, TITUS! breathes new life into Shakespeare’s classic tale.
